Meet Megan Bacchus aka Shortstuff25

Megan Bacchus is the author of A Dark Desire, which is her debut novel and the first in the Mages and Misreave series.
​
She is a University of Ottawa graduate with a double major in Psychology and Classical Studies. The competitiveness of the teaching world directed her towards a more psychology based career path and she added to her Bachelor of Arts degree by achieving a Certificate of Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College. She's been hoping to get a job working with youth or children that deal with mental health issues, ideally as a mental health worker or counsellor in a school setting, but until then she writes and does part time work to bring in the money.

She is a self-proclaimed geek. She loves reading young adult books (her favourite authors are Cassandra Clare and Rick Riordan), watching movies, participating in trivia games, and anything superhero related (DC over Marvel). She's a sports fan, supporting her local Toronto teams (particularly the Blue Jays) and her favourite sports are baseball (which she use to play) and football (Eagles fan).

She currently lives in Mississauga with her partner.
