Synopsis: A rag doll (Elijah Wood) that awakens in a postapocalyptic future holds the key to humanity's salvation.

I GIVE THIS MOVIE 6 OUT OF 10

My Review:

This was a pretty cool movie. It was visually very interesting and intricate (particularly with the designs of each rag doll). The movie had a short run time (79 minutes) which was why the story felt a little flat but still it managed to be entertaining. It was a cool little adventure movie with the goal to stop the machines that destroyed humanity. I could see this movie being scary for some younger kids.

Spoilers ahead:

-It was revealed each rag doll had a bit of the head scientist's soul in them and that really didn't play much of a roll. Each doll didn't hold a small piece to the larger picture of stopping the machine and each doll didn't really have a particular skill to contribute to stopping the machine (like a different aspect of the scientist's personality or knowledge).

-The movie kind of ended like "now what." What is suppose to happen now that the machine has stopped? Will the rag dolls somehow start a new civilization (is that even possible?)? Will humans return somehow?
