Synopsis: Both species have been fighting for centuries. The misreaves known for being monsters that feed off emotions fight for their right to exist while the mages, magic users, fight for the earth and the power they harness from it. In the 21st century the war still rages on. Lucas and Tristan Delecroix and Ashlinn Fairweather have no idea that they’re about to be swept up into it. Lucas and Tristan have been told to stay away from their neighbour Ashlinn but what they don’t know is why and for both brothers they don’t think that they can stay away from her. Their family’s secrets guide them and keep them safe but their feelings towards her will put their lives in danger. As for Ashlinn she has been living in hiding with her father, hiding from the enemy and her own kind. She has her own deep secret, one that has been hidden from her for her whole life. A chance meeting would bring Ashlinn and the brothers together but the history between their two species may drive them apart. Together they must face obstacles from both sides and face the challenge of a growing forbidden romance.
