Valentine's Hearts Devil's Food Cake

I bought heart shaped molds from Dollarama and wanted to make mini cakes to give out. Normally I would make vanilla cake but instead I opted to try a chocolate cake. I got the recipe from a book I got as a Christmas gift called "The Sprinkles Baking Book" by Candace Nelson (you can find a picture of the recipe below). For the icing I used store bought Betty Crocker whipped chocolate icing and a pick icing to make the heart. There was a specific recipe to make the icing that goes along with the cake but I opted to use store bought ones for time. The cake was really sweet and delicious. The added chocolate icing made it especially savory.
