Homemade Jewelry Organizer

So I use to hold all my jewelry in a craft container that had different compartments. The problem with this was that I couldn't see all my jewelry and as a result I would wear the same things over and over. So I decided to make a jewelry display board.

I bought 2 black photo frames and using the wooded back of the frame I traced the shape onto the foam board so that it would fit in the frame. I cut the foam board (using an blade) and placed it within the frames. For my rings and bracelets (and some of my earrings) I hung them on the wooden dowels which are held up by the command hooks. For my earring I simply pushed them into the foam board. For my necklaces I hung them onto the foam board using push pins.

All my materials came from Dollarama or can be purchased from any dollar store. I can't remember the exact prices for the materials but I put an approximate price.

Materials:

-1 Black foam board ($1)

-Wooden dowels (which I painted silver) ($1.25 for a pack)

-4 command hooks (which I painted gold) ($1.25 for 2)

-push pins (which I painted gold) ($1.25 for a pack)

-2 large black photo frames ($2.50 each)
