Synopsis: The story of intelligence officer Max Vatan (Brad Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.

I RATE THIS MOVIE 6.5 OUT OF 10.

My Review:

The first half of the movie is a romance story as Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard characters work together to act as a marry couple and take down Nazis. The two have really good chemistry together and both actors can hold their own individually as well. The second half of the movie contains the romance and new life as an officaly couple but then becomes a thriller with Brad Pitt trying to prove his wife's innocence and get to the real truth. There is some action scenes which is well done and the intensity as to whether Marion Cotillard is a spy or not, and if she isn't then who is really puts you on the edge of your seat. If you have seen the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith then you might find this movie to be similar and therefore tired but if not or if you disagree then you will enjoy the movie.
