Patriots Day

Synopsis: Tragedy strikes on April 15, 2013, when two bombs explode during the Boston Marathon. In the aftermath of the attack, police Sgt. Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg), FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers (Kevin Bacon) and Commissioner Ed Davis (John Goodman) join courageous survivors, first responders and other investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the suspects and bring them to justice.

My Review:

Everyone has heard of the Boston Marathon bombing that took place in 2013 but there might be some people, like me, who only heard bits and pieces of the story. This movie gives a complete narrative about what happened that day and what followed after. Also, the fictional character Tommy Saunders (played my Mark Wahlberg) gave us a look at every aspect of the investigation. It is quite the tragic story and it's unbelievable what the terrorists did during the attack and the subsequent manhunt. There is lots of action and the investigation is thrilling to follow.
