Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

Synopsis: The young super groups get a new member who seems to have ulterior motives as they take on the mercenary Deathstroke.

My Review:

The story line isn't too unfamiliar, especially if you've watched the Teen Titans animated series but there are some twists and plenty of action. So glad to see Deathstroke back in the animated universe. I enjoyed watching him in the animated series Teen Titans and now he's back in action. It is interesting to see Starfire as the role of the leader especially since I am so use to Robin or Nightwing leading the Titans but I really enjoy seeing more of her. She has an interesting backstory, which they touched on, and putting her as the leader gives her more of an expansive role. It was great to see Terra in all her Titan glory but she turned way too fast on the Titans. Also, her sexual relationship with Slade was really disturbing because of the age difference. I would like to see more Blue Beetle backstory and action since his character is so unique in regards to the relationship with the beetle on his back. Also, I guess Robin and Raven's role has been reduced since their characters have been pretty heavily featured in past animated movies.
