Synopsis: When a wounded Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) tries to entice a cautious Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian's past start to circle them, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.

I RATE THIS MOVIE 6.5 OUT OF 10.

My Review:

In the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey we are once again thrust into the world of BDSM, only this time both persons seem to be willing and get something out of the arrangement. Ana is much more open to trying some things on her terms and Christian shows that he doesn't need to rely on his old sexual ways to enjoy himself; he is more open to romance. I find that the chemistry between the two characters is really great and feels natural (although I've heard rumors the two actors don't really care for one another). There was some annoyance with Ana constantly being unsure whether she wanted to pursue a relationship with Christian but it is understandable. We get a bit of a glimpse into Christian's past but it's almost not enough to really shape the character. Overall, the movie is a good romantic film if nothing else.
