beings that can use the Earth’s magic (energy) and their own energy. Being a mage is hereditary and when a mage turns 7 their magic manifests in the form of an Elemental mage. When they turn 10 their magic changes into the form that it will remain for the rest of their life. A group of mages is called a Coven and they are represented by a Coven leader. The Coven members lead the Coven and it is a governing body of 12 members (4 from each subtype of mage). You have to be 18 years old to be a Coven member. Their symbol is a quarter moon with sun rays and three stars.

Subtypes:

• Castor mages (purple): the most common type of mage and they use a variety of different spells.

• Elemental mages: considered to use a pure form a magic. These mages can use the Earth’s elementals: fire (red), water (blue), earth (brown), and air (white). An elemental mage needs to have the source of their magic around. For example: a fire elemental mage needs to have a flame source available.

• Altform mages (green): a rare form of mage that can alter their form to turn into something else; such as an object, a force of nature (tornado, lightning, etc.), another person, and animals.
